From Albuquerque, NM to El Paso, TX.


Day 1. Albuquerque - Santa Fe, NM.

Arrival in Albuquerque International airport in the afternoon. We begin our tour with a visit the Old Town, where the rich history of the American  Southwest meets its current day, then take a drive to Santa Fe,  New Mexico's capital city. A general familiarization tour of the city is followed by a hotel check in. Evening at leisure.  2 nights in Santa Fe.


​Day 2. Santa Fe - Bandelier National Monument - Los Alamos - Santa Fe.
This morning we head toward Bandelier National Monument. A picturesque drive north of Santa Fe offers magnificent vistas of the Rio Grande Gorge and the colorful rock formations. Once in Bandelier N.M. – you are to enjoy a tour of the cliff dwellings and ancient Indian pueblos dating back to the 12th century. Then on to Los Alamos to learn the history of the Manhattan Project, and to make a stop at the Bradbury Science Museum for a tour and a movie. Return in Santa Fe in the early evening. 
The balance of the day is your to enjoy. You may want to take a white water rafting tour on Rio Grande, or simply relax in the historical part of the city. 


Day 3. Santa Fe - Albuquerque - Ruidoso.
Today we are to visit Canon Road Art Galleries – one of the largest concentration of art galleries in the United States; then conduct an in-depth walking tour of the city, which includes: Old Town Santa Fe, Santa Fe Plaza, the San Miguel Mission, the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, Loretto Chapel's "Miracle Staircase", Cristo Rey Church. You may want to visit Georgia O’ Keffee Museum, take a leisurely walk along Santa Fe river, and enjoy the many beautiful shops and restaurants in town, or perhaps explore the Palace of the Governors and some boutique shops around Santa Fe Plaza. Early afternoon departure for Albuquerque. Optional ride on the aerial tramway to the top of Sandia Peak. Evening arrival in Ruidoso - a resort town in the mountains of New Mexico. Night in Ruidoso, NM.

Day 4.  Ruidoso - White Sands NM - Cloudcroft - Carlsbad, NM.
Today we explore White Sands National Monument, the home of snow-white sand dunes and an unearthly landscapes. At mid-day we head to Cloudcroft - an alpine village in a picturesque setting, then onto Carlsbad, NM. Night in Carlsbad or Artesia, NM.


Day 5.Carlsbad - Carlsbad Caverns NP - El Paso. Today we visit the largest and deepest caves in the Western Hemisphere - Carlsbad Caverns National Park. An elevator will take you 750 feet below the surface to witness a whole underground city with lakes, stalactites, stalagmites, all delicately accented by special lighting.
Then we drive to El Paso, TX, conduct a short city tour and head to El Paso International Airport for your return flight home.
